In Sudan’s ongoing conflict, access to basic necessities has become increasingly difficult. During a recent visit to an orphanage in the region, young students were observed learning the Quran by writing verses on wooden boards, a traditional method used when books are unavailable. Their dedication to learning under extreme circumstances remains both humbling and inspiring.

Recognizing the need for proper learning materials, the Lily Jay Foundation stepped in to provide printed copies of the Quran directly to these children. In an active conflict zone where resources are scarce and delivery is highly challenging, this effort was a critical step toward supporting their education and providing daily stability.

For these children, receiving a Quran was a profound source of comfort, guidance, and hope. The Lily Jay Foundation remains completely committed to sustaining these vital field operations and supporting vulnerable communities striving to learn and grow, even in the most difficult conditions.
