This week, a targeted field initiative successfully delivered essential nutritional support alongside foundational educational resources to children in a vulnerable community in the Philippines during Ramadan.

As the time for iftar approached, technical teams and local workers prepared and distributed balanced, hot meals to children who had been fasting throughout the day. Sitting together in organized groups, the children shared the food and water, bringing immediate physical relief, stability, and a sense of community care to their daily routine.

Alongside the iftar meals, physical copies of the Holy Qur'an were distributed to the children to support ongoing literacy, personal reflection, and independent study. The students engaged with the texts with great curiosity and care, establishing a reliable resource for their educational and spiritual development.

This comprehensive field operation provided vital nutrition while upholding community dignity and fostering long-term hope. The initiative was coordinated, funded, and completed through the global network and ground operations of the Lily Jay Foundation, continuing its mission to strengthen community resilience and deliver critical resources to children worldwide.

This initiative was made possible through the generosity of supporters and donors. At Lily Jay Foundation, we remain committed to supporting vulnerable children and communities by providing both essential aid and opportunities for spiritual growth.
