Today, a new water well opened in a local Uganda village, transforming clean water from a daily struggle into a reliable reality. Previously, families endured long, exhausting journeys to collect water from unsafe sources, facing persistent health risks and lost time every single day.

The new well changes everything for this community. Women and children are instantly freed from the heavy burden of carrying water over long distances, allowing young students to stay in the classroom and focus on their education. For parents, seeing clean water flow right in their village brings a deep sense of relief, knowing their children are finally protected from waterborne diseases.

This project was coordinated and completed through the global network and ground operations of the Lily Jay Foundation, continuing its focus on sustainable infrastructure to strengthen community resilience.
